Shade's Landing Inc.

The Minnesota BCA has renewed our certification as of February 1st 2010 through 2015..... Shade's Landing Inc. became the FIRST Minnesota training organization to have their MCPPA organizational credentials renewed through the Minnesota Department of Public Safety. Senior Special Agent Josh Florell of the MN BCA (Bureau of Criminal Apprehension) wrote: "I am pleased to inform you that your organization, Shade's Landing Inc. has been approved for renewal by the Department of Public Safety in accordnace with the department's standards." He went on to congratulate our company on being approved.

Accreditation is required under the Minnesota Personal Protection Act (the firearm carry law) for an organization to certify instructors who in turn teach carry permit classes to the general public. Co-owner Gary Shade stated: "We are honored that the BCA has renewed our certification, recognizing that our courses meet and exceed the stringent standards of the Minnesota DPS."

Shade's Landing Inc. becomes the first training organization to have received credential renewal under the law. Shade's Landing Inc. who also offer an online/hybrid carry course, has trained over 5,000 students in firearm safety and concealed and carry techniques and the MCPPA since 2003.
