"Whether we like it or not, we remain a dominant military superpower"... Obama - Nuclear Summit 4/13/2010 Washington D.C. ..
It seems our President would have it such that we are not a dominant military superpower. According to Fox News, the Obama made the remark at the close of the two day
nuclear summit held this week in Washington D.C.

Obama makes it sound as if we are tired of the burden of being the nation others look to in time of crisis or simply for leadership. Perhaps this plays into his overall plan of socialism to drive America from a position of leadership in the world. It seems to many this IS the plan of the Obama administration.

Just yesterday, the Federal Reserve Chairman told Congress that America is facing a financial debt "Armageddon". In no part thanks to the policies of a failed Tarp, Stimulus, Cash for Clunkers and other programs that have burned through taxpayer dollars faster than all the Presidents and Congresses that came before the Obama.

America was actually doing very well before Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats came to power in Congress in 2006. We had low unemployment, a record of quarterly increases in tax revenue and the GDP and then the bottom fell out - in part due to the economic policies or lack of them offered by the Democrats under Pelosi's leadership. For example, Barney Franks and his Senate counterpartSenator Chris Dodd continued to pressure banks to engage in sub-prime lending and make loans to those who had dubious credit histories; To people who could not pay back their loans. It was a house of cards put together by the Democrats in an attempt to garner favor with those whom they viewed as their constituency.

Then we had Representative John Murtha (now deceased 2/09/2010) who stated back on May 17th 2006 about civilians being killed in the Iraqi city of Haditha, that "there was no firefight, there was no IED (improvised explosive device) that killed these innocent people. Our troops overreacted because of the pressure on them, and they killed innocent civilians in cold blood." when he accused at least two marines of cold blooded murder. Murtha's accusations turned out to be false and the Marines were acquitted and for others, charges were dropped. Two marines sued Murtha for defamation and slander.

According to Iowa Presidential Watch Rooney, lead attorney for Lt. Col. Jeffrey Chessani, was asked by talk show host Savage why he thought Murtha, a former Marine himself, accused the officers and enlisted men. "In my opinion, it's clear it was done during the election cycle, it was done to bolster himself in the party," the attorney said. "He was vying for a leadership position, and if he had to throw some Marines under the bus to do so, that was the cost of power for him."

It's a pattern of Democrats tearing down the military establishment as appeasement to a constituency and for their own political gains. It's disgusting and it puts America at risk, and it's time for it to stop.

I'm proud to be an American. I can't say the same for our President. It's not unlike the Democrats who have an open tent philosophy for their party where every misfit, and malcontent in America. It's when their politics get poisoned by the idealogical demagogues of the far left that leaves America vulnerable and in the position we're in today: High unemployment, high taxes, and a debt that as the Fed. chairman puts it is a "debt Armageddon".

Think 2010 and beyond!
