The 2nd Amendment - More than just another right

There are some in the MN gun community who don't believe the 2nd Amendment should be discussed as a ....political right. They believe that might draw the wrong attention to what they refer to as "the cause".

The cause is and should be about freedom and liberty - not just gun rights.

Our 2nd amendment secures all other rights that are enumerated in the Constitution, and those that are reserved to the people and states. The 2nd Amendment came about as a safeguard, America's protection against an unjust government. It ensures that we the People would have the means to take back our government from a tyrannical despot if and when it came to that. It ensured, that we the people had the right to throw off the chains that separate free men and women from mere subjects of their own government.

The 2nd Amendment was born through revolution and folks - you simply don't get any more political than that.

BCA Re-Certifies Shade's Landing Inc.

The Minnesota BCA has renewed our certification as of February 1st 2010 through 2015.....Shade's Landing Inc. became the FIRST Minnesota training organization to have their MCPPA organizational credentials renewed through the Minnesota Department of Public Safety. Senior Special Agent Josh Florell of the MN BCA (Bureau of Criminal Apprehension) wrote: "I am pleased to inform you that your organization, Shade's Landing Inc. has been approved for renewal by the Department of Public Safety in accordnace with the department's standards." He went on to congratulate our company on being approved.

Accreditation is required under the Minnesota Personal Protection Act (the firearm carry law) for an organization to certify instructors who in turn teach carry permit classes to the general public. Co-owner Gary Shade stated: "We are honored that the BCA has renewed our certification, recognizing that our courses meet and exceed the stringent standards of the Minnesota DPS."

Shade's Landing Inc. becomes the first training organization to have received credential renewal under the law. Shade's Landing Inc. who also offer an online/hybrid carry course, has trained over 5,000 students in firearm safety and concealed and carry techniques and the MCPPA since 2003. Their certification now runs through 2015. A copy of the letter can be found here: .

Why socialism is a lost cause...

From the old Soviet Republic, to Cuba, socialism (and Marxism) are a lost cause. It can not work and here's why....A Democratic Republic will triumph over socialism in the debate about ideals. The only true way for socialism to triumph is as Mao Tse-Tung once said of power: "Political power grows out of the barrel of a gun. " That's the ONLY way socialism can work. Force it on the masses through power and centralize that power and control.

America was founded on the premise that every man (and today women) were blessed with inalienable rights endowed to us not by government, but by our creator. That these rights should be self-evident such as the the right to pursue happiness (i.e. acquire and own property, choose our own line of work etc.). Government needs to help us by staying out of our way in achieving happiness. Forcing programs like federalized health care or by taking over entire companies and sometimes industries, is not good for a free republic.

I recall once having argued with a letter writer to a local paper that we were a Republic, based on laws, and held accountable to the Republic's Constitution. "NO" she screamed loudly through the editorial pages. I was misinformed according to her. We were not a Republic she wrote, we were a Democracy! If we were truly a democracy, then the mob would rule and blacks would still be sitting in the back of the bus and drinking from separate water fountains. But no. We are a Republic where the dignity of the individual is revered and Constitutionally protected and where the mob does not rule over individual rights.

That's why so many are so angry with Washington today. What we see is mob rule. We see a super majority cramming their agenda down the throats of all Americans without so much as a debate of the issues. Well to be fair they did have a on-hour debate on the 1990 page and 400,000 word House version of Health Care. One little hour to debate a bill that most U.S. House members had not even read!

Most Americans believe it or not ARE happy with their medical coverage. What we are talking about is approximately 8 million (not 43 million as the Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi crowd would have us believe) America citizens are without health insurance. And folks - health care is NOT a right. It's nice to have coverage, but it is not a right.

What we needed to fix the little that is wrong with today's medical coverage would have been to begin tort reform and limit lawsuits that drive up the cost of health insurance for us all. Some small towns no longer have a practicing doctor because liability and malpractice insurance costs are out of control.

What we don't need is for Washington to mandate health coverage and force us to purchase a policy. As a young man, I did not need nor did I want health insurance. I did not need it at that point in my life. When we started our business in the mid-1990s, we made enough money that we could self-insure ourselves for most health issues. It was only when we approached 50 that we saw a need for health coverage and took out our policies.

Yet under Washington's plan health care would be socialized, and to pay for it, every American would now pay at least $2,000 per year to the government or an insurance company for coverage. No exceptions. Except for Congress and the Senate of course. These folks can't be expected to give up their health care plans and suffer with the rest of us can they? Of course not!

This is what America is angry about.

We're angry about the government being so big that they now control the financial market, automotive market, and banking markets through loans of our tax dollars, and now they want to control 1/6 of the US economy by dictating our health care insurance.

No thanks - give me capitalism anytime. Americans and American companies can do anything and everything better than what our Government can do for us.

What? You don't believe the last statement? How about Social Security? How about Medicare? You don't believe Americans could have made wise investments with the dollars they've paid into those two broken programs alone? If I had been able to invest my own money rather than paying into a bankrupt FICA fund, I know that I would have money on retirement. But realistically, I don't see that happening with Social Security.

And Medicare? The agency who heads up the anti-fraud effort at Medicare estimates that $80 BILLION per year is lost to fraud. In 2008, the agency recovered about $20.4 BILLION related to fraud ( http://www.lasvegassun.com/news/2009/apr/15/dig-more-medicare-fraud/ ). Does this make the case for trusting the government with more of our money?

Let's face it - our government is directly involved in the fleecing of America. Cronies and get-out-the-vote organizations are profiting under Tarp. Fox News reported as much as $78 BILLION is missing out of $254 BILLION paid for assets. In other words, we overpaid by $78 BILLION, and no one knows where this money went ( http://www.foxnews.com/urgent_queue/index.html#527cb3ba,2009-02-05 )

This is exactly what the liberal and statist wants. Direct government control in every aspect of our economy at the expense of free enterprise. One way to do that is to usurp individual liberties and take from Peter and give it to Paul. The redistribution of wealth is a central theme to the New World Order of socialism. It can not exist unless Government relieves us of the burden and stress of living in a democratic republic based on capitalism.

The beast must be fed. And it will be unless Americans wake up to what's going on around them.

It's a Jeep Thing!

It’s a Jeep Thing!
1/6/2010

Well maybe this is my mid-life crisis. It's my birthday today and this week, I picked up my birthday present. A slightly used (4,000 miles) 4-door- Jeep Wrangler Unlimited – Rubicon. It still looks and smells brand new.

For those who don’t know, the Rubicon is THE toughest off-road vehicle you could ever own. Heavy duty axles front and back, locking axles front and back, a sway bar disconnect (so both front wheels stay on the ground when rock climbing – it’s called “artriculation”) and absolutely not much room for anything except passengers!

Named after a 12-mile stretch of the toughest off-road terrain in the U.S.A., the Jeep Rubicon is trail rated – meaning it is the vehicle you would want to be in if you were tackling trails as tough as the Rubicon. The Rubicon is typically associated with the “point of no return” as when Caesar declared “alea iacta est!" - "the die is cast!" when he crossed the Rubicon to attack Rome ( The History of the Rubicon ). So the trail for many is the point of no return.

Now, I do not expect to be visiting the Rubicon with my Jeep Rubicon. But I like knowing I could and with some common sense – I might even make it out alive and unscathed. Well, alive at least.

I traded down to the Jeep from a 2003 Suburban that served me very well for nearly 7 years. But it was breaking down having required nearly $8,000 worth of work over the past couple of years. It was time to say goodbye to the gas guzzling Burb and get on with a new adventure.

Granted – the Jeep is not the best vehicle out there when it comes to fuel efficiency, but at 15 city and 19 highway, it sure beats the 11 MPG I was getting with the Suburban. The thing I’ll miss the most is the roominess of the Suburban and the storage capability of it. I can't haul much with the Jeep. So I’m thinking of building my own little trailer to haul behind it.

So far I love tooling around town in Ruby. It has all the amenities including navigation system and satellite radio. It’s dash board and trip computer is a nice plus as are the little things like a low air pressure indicator for the tires etc. And the top comes off of which will make summer driving a lot of fun!

The kids are both grown now and only once in a while do I have to haul them around. But Ruby seats five so there should not be a problem there. It has enough room to haul teaching supplies and guns for our training classes, but that’s only if the back seats are folded flat.

There’s a lot to like about Ruby. She’s going to be one tough 3.8L V6 on the trails this year!

MN DNR CO at it again...

As a DNR Instructor and a MN Carry instructor, we hear about not only the good, but also the bad things that Minnesota DNR Conservation Officers do when "enforcing" the gaming laws....Such as the case this past weekend when a student of ours informed us that while out duck hunting this last Friday (Nov. 27th), he and his hunting partner were approached by a DNR conservation officer in Pine County. An older CO, with a female partner is how our student describe this CO (I'm still waiting on a name).

The CO told my student that the uncased and unloaded shotgun in his boat needed to be in a case before he shoved off in the boat. My student correctly informed the CO that the law changed this year, and now all that is necessary is for any rifle or shotgun to be unloaded and uncased if traveling to or from a place to be lawfully hunted that day or from one site to another. The CO told my student he was wrong (my student was NOT wrong) and that if he did not case the shotgun, he, the CO, would confiscate the firearm and perhaps the boat.

Today I called the DNR at the main number and the person I spoke to agreed that the law changed and the CO had it wrong. He offered to give me the CO's supervisor's phone number, a Lt. Rita Frenzel at 218-372-8158. The problem is and was that I have dealt with Ms. Frenzel before and she's not agreeable to hearing anything bad about her COs.

The new exceptions to 97B.045 Transportation of firearms are below:

Subd. 3. Exceptions; hunting and shooting ranges. (a) Notwithstanding provisions to the contrary under this chapter, a person may transport an unloaded, uncased firearm, excluding a pistol as defined in paragraph (b), in a motor vehicle while at a shooting range, as defined under section 87A.01, subdivision 3, where the person has received permission from the lawful owner or possessor to discharge firearms; lawfully hunting on private or public land; or travelling to or from a site the person intends to hunt lawfully that day or has hunted lawfully that day, unless:(1) within Anoka, Hennepin, or Ramsey county;(2) within an area where the discharge of a firearm has been prohibited under section 471.633;(3) within the boundaries of a home rule charter or statutory city with a population of 2,500 or more;(4) on school grounds; or(5) otherwise restricted under section 97A.091, 97B.081, or 97B.086.

Bottom line Ms. Frenzel - educate your COs on the law so they are not out bullying law abiding hunters with threats of private property confiscation or bogus charges. See page 21 of the Hunting and trapping regulations where the law is summarized.

Ft. Hood was a terrorist attack stupid...

The evidence is almost overwhelming at this point...And it can not be ignored. The regular media is still referring to Hassan as a man who "snapped" that he suffered from Post Traumatic Stress as one reporter put it on the day of the attack. What an insult to those soldiers who DID actually fight in one of America's wars and suffer from PTSD. Hassan did NOT suffer from PTSD which is a terrible psychological condition reserved for those who HAVE served or gone through a traumatic, often violent event. It occurs AFTER (hence the "Post" in Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) combat, not before deployment.

The media is making this guy out to be a U.S. soldier (which he was) who simply snapped because of pressure (which he did not). He was and is a terrorist who committed a terrorist act on U.S. soil. He prepared for the shootings at Ft. Hood as the 9/11 hijackers prepared themselves for their horrendous deeds that day.

For example, the Ft. Hood shooter Nidal Malik Hasan had many contacts with al-Awlaki. al-Awlaki it turns out was a "spiritual advisor" to two of the 9/11 hijackers according to CNN. Although the contacts were explained as research, there should have been a red flag raised by guilt by association. But that would not be politically correct would it?

According to the NY Dailey News, Awlaki wrote on his blog "Nidal Hassan is a hero," and that "Nidal opened fire on soldiers who were on their way to be deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan. How can there be any dispute about the virtue of what he has done?" al-Awlaki is the radical cleric who lectured or preached at the Virginia mosque where Hassan worshiped.

Hassan, an Army Psychologist appears to have been on the fast track for promotions according to published reports and the Army's own records . It takes nearly 10 years for an officer to reach the rank of major, Hassan did it in six. A sign of political correctness run amok? Did he get this fast track to Major simply because he was a Muslim? Records indicate that may have been the case.

Other missed signs were that Hassan gave away all or most of his personal belongings and his personal business cards that had 'Soldier for Allah' or SOA printed on the card. I think that now he ought to print SOL on his personal business cards now that he's captured and apparently paralyzed from the neck down.

He also defended suicide bombers. Saying that they were like the G.I. who dives on a grenade to save his buddies. What a crock. Terrorist acts like suicide bombings are a cowards battle. The suicide bomber knows he can't win a one-on-one battle with our soldiers and military, so he hides among children and women and then blows them up when it suits him. Nothing can be more cowardly. Whereas a GI who falls on a grenade saves innocent lives, the terrorist takes innocent lives.

CNN also reports that Robert Foster a Pvt. who was wounded in Hassans terroristic act, stated Hassan shouted: "Allahu Akbar" -- Arabic for "God is great" - a phrase that terrorists have used as a battle cry according to CNN.

The Washington Times and the Chicago Sun Times have both run editorials calling the Ft. Hood shootings a terrorist act.

What kind of leadership does President Obama provide on this matter? He's asked that we not jump to conclusions. He's steadfastly refuses to call the shootings a terrorist act. He'd rather point to "problems" that Hassan had rather than calling the shootings exactly what they are: A terrorist act.

Perhaps the worst insult to our military and us as a nation is that Hassan might be tried in a civilian court, rather than a military tribunal which is where terrorists need to be put on trail. It sure did not work out when Clinton and Reno put the first Trade Center bombers on trail in court. They turned it into a circus. Now we may have this happen again with Hassan. And it's a real possibility given that Attorney General Eric Holder has recently decided to put terrorist and 9/11 mastermind Kalid Shaikh Mohammed on trail in New York. In fact, the trail would be held right next to ground zero!

Can you believe that? The mastermind of 9/11 to be put on trial not more than a block away from ground zero. Holder explained it was to show the world what America was all about. What America is all about Mr. Holder is that we don't offer quarter to terrorists. We don't afford terrorists the rights of citizens in our legal system. We don't read terrorists their Miranda rights because the majority of Americans would likely tell you that terrorists have NO MIRANDA rights! But we're whistling in the wind when it comes to these bone-head decisions by Attorney General Eric Holder and others in the Obama Administration.

And here's one for you to ponder: What if KSM's (Kalid Shaikh Mohammed) case is dismissed or he is set free? Holder and the administration do not even want to consider the possibility. But if water boarding is against the law, the confessions we obtained might be thrown out of a civil court where the defendant now has civil rights, as opposed to the rights afforded to enemy combatants. Why Attorney General Eric Holder would even consider moving the trial of these terrorists to NY is beyond me and most Americans. Holder has shown zero compassion for the families whose loved ones were killed in the 9/11 attacks.

We have a confession, KSM admits he was the mastermind, so what are we waiting for? Give the asshole his last cigarette, load the rifle and put the terrorist out of his misery. Sounds pretty simple to me. We should do the same with Hassan.

Change is what we were promised during last year's election, and folks.... change is what we got. Is it working for you?

Hunt 2009 is shaping up to be a fantastic year in terms of hunting.....

This year I decided to use my AR-15 and Extreme Shock .223, with a 62 grain, 90 micron, compressed tungsten bullet. And I'm glad I did. On Tuesday November 10th, my fourth day in the field I took my first deer.

It was about 3:06pm when I climbed into my stand. It only took about a minute before I started to hear what sounded like a deer off to my right. I have a partial blind spot in the stand and could not see him (nor could he see me).

I then saw a small (turned out to be 130 lb.) 5 point buck walk out from the blind spot, and continue into some tall weeds about 50 yards away. He was following the scent trail I had laid down earlier in the day! I slipped the safety off of my AR and when he presented himself, CRACK! He went down.

One shot - on clean kill. There was nothing left inside the animal after the Extreme Shock tungsten bullet did it's
job (see this popup caution - it is graphic)
popup
. There was no damage to the edible meat (except for a about 1/3 of the tenderloins), but the Extreme Shock really did a number on the vital organs of the buck. I hit high and right on the buck and his spinal cord was also severed by the shot. I did loose part of the tenderloins - but that was my fault for the shot being high.

Oh and the time? It was at 3:11pm! A mere five minutes
into my afternoon/evening hunt and I had my buck. I stayed on
stand until the close of hunting thinking I might see another
buck or doe. Even though I got my buck, I could have taken
another one for someone in our hunting party
(party hunting is legal in MN).

The other thing I did differently this year, is to lay down a scent trail using a drag. I purchased a kit from Walmart made by Tinks. It contained a scent bomb that you hang from a tree, foot pads for cover scents, and a drag for cover scents and to lay down a scent trail right to your stand. You also need to purchase your scent(s). I chose the "DOE-P" scent and loaded up the drag rag with it.

On the Monday, the first day I used it, my son Jason told me four does cam out and immediately pick up the scent on the trail and headed right towards me. Unfortunately, something (maybe a buck) spooked them and they ran back into the woods.

So I tried it again on Tuesday. I hunted one of stands on the North end of the property in the morning. I put the drag on and scented it on the way to the stand and away from it in the afternoon. The buck I took, followed the scent trail I laid down and walked right in front of my second stand in the afternoon!

I'm sold on the Extreme Shock for hunting and self-defense and the DOE-P from Tinks with the scent drag. An outstanding combination!

While we've used Extreme Shock for self-defense ever since we became a dealer for them, this is the first time I had the opportunity to hunt with their hunting rounds. OUTSTANDING is all I can say. The compressed tungsten blows apart in a 90 degree wound channel on contact with soft tissue. Since Tungsten is 58% denser than lead, it gets through bone without any problem.

Other family members are also doing well this year though my hunting buddies Rod and Steve continue to be skunked! More coming to you in part 2!

On Conservatism...

I was recently questioned "What is a conservative". I thought the answer should be evident: It is someone who believes in individual liberty and in limited government.

Government exists as a slave to the people, not the other way around.Mark Levine writes in his excellent book "Liberty and Tyranny, a Conservative Manifesto", that conservatism is a "way of understanding life, society, and governance." Very eloquent and very much to the point.

As a conservative, I believe in the individual's ability to achieve. I also believe in limited government, and as Levine calls it in his book, a society based on "ordered liberty" (hence the need for limited government). I cringe at terms used in today's politico such as "redistribution of wealth" or "for the greater good" or being "politically correct". This to a conservative is code speak for socialism and not capitalism, for conformity rather than individualism.

In our firearm classes we discuss briefly, the political sense of the 2nd Amendment. For most who take our classes (nearly 5,000 since 2003), they understand that an amendment born out of a revolution is very much (as are the others) not only a fundamental human right, but also a political right. If you do not exercise that right, if you are not vigilant about guarding that right, you will loose the right to a tyrannical government one day.

However, on occasion in our classes, we have had someone who does not understand that 1) our company is a family run, Christian faith based, and conservative organization and that 2) we discuss the 2nd Amendment in terms of our friends and foes who are in Washington and the legislature here in Minnesota. We had such a person in our class recently.

The question then becomes, should we forgo the discussion (and it really is a brief three slide discussion) of our most anti-gun administration that we have ever elected, or should we not have the discussion because it may "upset" someone. I don't like the idea of trading my values for valuables. I never have and hopefully I never will.

When legislation is introduced by those in power such as HR 45 where all US handgun owners would be registered, or in California where the recently passed CA962 was signed into law requiring fingerprinting for ammunition purchases, we must speak up. Legislation such as the Ammunition Accountability Act was debated in 18 states this past year and would require SERIALIZED bullets if it ever became law, we must speak up.

When in their own words they say things like Eric Holder said earlier this year in regard to another assault weapons ban: "As President Obama indicated during the campaign, there are just a few gun-related changes that we would like to make, and among them would be to reinstitute the ban on the sale of assault weapons," (Feb 25th 2009). He set off a firestorm.

Or when Diane Feinstien lamented when the original ban expired in 2004, she said on the television show CBS 60 Minutes: "If I could have gotten 51 votes in the Senate of the United States for an outright ban, picking up every one of them -- Mr. and Mrs. America, turn them all in -- I would have done it." The threat to gun owners becomes very real and a call to action must be made.

Is it political? Absolutely. Is it unexpected rhetoric in a firearm class? It should not be.

Most conservative Americans are just now waking up to the fact that we are in a fight for the future direction of America. Do we remain silent or allow ourselves to be silenced by this administration, or not discuss the issues because it might offend someone? Or do we take a stand on those values we hold so dear? My choice is to take a stand and not trade our values for valuables. I hope that is your choice also.

Jobs Saved?

The B.S. Is coming out of Washington faster than Americans can grab their shovels...Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner was recently asked by a reporter "What does the government consider to be a saved job? Since economists do not recognize that term." Actually economists do recognize the term "saved jobs" as being bogus since you can't really prove that a job "is saved" and nor can the worker. The reporter asked "is this real or not" and Geithner replied that the numbers are real. Nearly 640,000 jobs have been saved (or created though the administration is not too sure if they are new or were existing jobs saved), at a cost of 207 Billion dollars at the end of October 2009. That comes out to approx. $328,000 per job!

If you look at the entire cost of the program at $787 billion and let's just say Obama and Biden are right and 3.5 million jobs are "saved" or created, then each job costs nearly $225,000.

My God people! WAKE UP! Is the the type of government we really want? They lie to us with bogus statistics like "jobs saved" and they don't even mention how much it has cost to "save" or create a job under their program.

I have a better idea... Just hand out $225,000 to each and every American. While that will still bankrupt America, at least we'll be able to determine how we can spend our own money. Maybe we'll make our own decisions on health care, our own decision NOT TO FUND Acorn etc. But that would not do the Administration any good since they are using the money to buy future votes.

For example, here in Minnesota we've been told that 14,000 jobs have been saved or created by the stimulus package. According to KSTP Television, "The U.S. Department of Education issued a report Monday detailing 7,421 stimulus jobs in the state's education system." In Minnesota the estimated cost per job is approximately: $85,908 per job (based on MN receiving $640 Million in stimulus dollars).

That's 7,421 new teachers, and more important to the Obama administration, 7,421 new union members. The Minnesota teachers union is arguably one of the largest unions (next to AFSME or the Municipal workers union) and they have money to burn and many votes to cast - mostly for Democrats.

It's like a circle of life to Democrats: Feed the beast with employees, get them to vote Democrat, then on top of it all, indoctrinate our kids and control their thinking through so called politically correct, zero tolerance programs. Then throw money at the Unions by calling the cash payoff a stimulus package. What a racket! And as parents we hand our kids over willingly to these Union members for over 8 hours per day!

Tell your US Representatives "NO MORE BAILOUTS", "NO TO UNIVERSAL HEALTHCARE" and "NO TO CAP & TRADE".

Extreme Shock

WHAT IS EXTREME SHOCK?

Extreme Shock™ is the safest, most technologically advanced small arms ammunition produced in the world. Extreme Shock™ offers superior performance with enhanced safety features that greatly exceed that of lead core ammunition.

Lead-free
Frangible
Non-toxic
No ricochet
No shoot-through
No lost game or loss of meat
The reduced over-penetration and reduced ricochet characteristics of Extreme Shock™ are nothing less than revolutionary.

Extreme Shock’s™ frangible and reduced ricochet properties produce a greater level of safety, making it the ideal choice for urban and home defense applications. A miss on a target will not penetrate several walls, and potentially injure a family member or neighbor. Over-penetration is minimized as the projectile’s complete energy, including the fragmented bullet itself, are typically contained within the target.

The health risk to EMS personnel is also reduced because Extreme Shock™ rounds don’t leave the many razor-sharp, glove shredding fragments like lead bullets do.

Extreme Shock™ transfers 100% of its energy to the target through massive fragmentation. This violent fragmentation causes shock trauma, shutting down the central nervous system, resulting in instant stopping power. Extreme Shock™ gives the hunter / operator enhanced capability, allowing for successful shots that would not be safe, or even possible with a lead bullet.

Tungsten is one of the most dense metals known to man. It’s this dense property that allows Extreme Shock™ bullets to penetrate less dense materials, such as, heavy clothing, thick skin, and dense bone, with ease.

The key to making any bullet perform is it’s ability to expand when it contacts fluid. Typically, most organic targets contain approximately 65% - 75% water. Once an Extreme Shock™ bullet penetrates into soft tissue and impacts fluid, the defractor plate acts as a piston to force the bullet fragments out into the tissue at 90 degree angles to the entry channel.

With 100% energy transfer into the surrounding tissue mass, Extreme Shock™ projectiles begin to act similar to a shaped charge used against heavy equipment, such as, tanks, APC’s, and other armored targets. Once the bullet begins to expand, the Nytrilium particles pick up the surrounding tissue and ram it forward, EXPONENTIALLY increasing the frontal area of the projectile.

As the Nytrilium particles hit soft internal organs, they release the last amount of kinetic energy as they dissipate, creating literally thousands of wound channels.

Bottom line: Extreme Shock Works!
