Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This Act may be cited as the `Law Enforcement Officials Protection Act of 1995'. SEC. 2. DEFINITION OF ARMOR PIERCING AMMUNITION EXPANDED TO INCLUDE POLYMER PLASTIC AMMUNITION. (a) In General: Section 921(a)(17)(B) of title 18, United States Code, is amended-- (1) by striking `or' at the end of clause (i); and (2) by redesignating clause (ii) as clause (iii) and inserting after clause (i) the following: `(ii) a projectile or projectile core which may be used in a firearm and which is constructed entirely (excluding the presence of traces of other substances) from polymer plastic; or'. (b) Effective Date: The amendments made by subsection (a) shall apply to conduct engaged in after the 30-day period that begins with the date of the enactment of this Act.
