Utah, Arizona
& Wisconsin Carry Class
Tuition: $85 or $75 (prepay
only)
This is a 4 Hour course and does not require Range
See our schedule for a class near you!
Get the training needed to apply for the two most valuable carry licenses in America: Utah and Wisconsin! Utah allows a non-resident to carry in 29 states and all for $65 (paid to the State of Utah separately) for a five year permit. You can even use your Utah permit for lawful carry in Minnesota. And when it is time to renew, it's only $15 and NO CLASS is required for renewal of your Utah permit!
If your state has reciprocity with or recognizes the Utah permit you will be required to show that you have a valid and current permit from your home state when applying for a UT permit. This also applies to those renewing a Utah permit after 05/11/2011. If your state does not issue a carry permit, or does not have reciprocity with Utah, then you can still get a Utah CFP (Concealed Firearm Permit).
NOTE: If you have had an alcohol related traffic violation (i.e. DUI / DWI) within the last FOUR years (from the time of being released from supervision or completion of sentence) then you are NOT eligible for the Utah permit. Be sure of your status before you sign-up for this class!
Utah non-resident permits are recognized in:
AL, AK*, AZ, AR, AZ. DE, GA, IA, ID, IN, KY, LA, MN, MO, MS, MT, NC, ND, NH,
OH, OK, PA, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT*, WA, WY,
Also: CO, NH, and FL if you are a Utah resident with this permit
* Alaska and Vermont do not require carry permits.
** Michigan only recognizes resident permits (MN, UT, NH, FL, PA, ND)
(MI, CO, SC, NH, FL, KS, WV only honor permits from residents of issuing states
(Current as of 10/25/2004, verify before carrying)
This is a 4 hour course covering Utah laws and basic firearm safety and firearm care. THIS IS NOT AN NRA COURSE. You will receive our private certificate (good for obtaining either a Utah or Florida or both), and a signed UTAH application that is signed by a Utah BCI instructor. Currently, a Utah permit is honored in Minnesota (so it is a great permit for our Wisconsin neighbors to obtain). NOTE! Pending 2011 legislation form the UT legislature, may require a UT applicant to first possess a permit from their home state before a UT permit will be issued. Look to our NEWS link to be kept up to date on this.
